Well I'm not going to say much, just an update for those of you that still read this.

I turned 20 on the 26th of Oct. The only cool thing about 20 is that you can say "Man, I hate teenagers" and you're not a hypocrite anymore! That and you're a year closer to 21 and being fully legal! I had a good birthday...all my friends, family and Zach made my birthday wonderful this year. Thanks guys.

Zach and I are almost at 9 months now! This is my longest relationship in a looong time and amazingly its seems to have been the easist. With Jeremy, he was always getting on my nerves and being childish, never knowing when to stop. We never talked about anything of any importance. Jon...we just fought a lot towards the end. And we didn't talk about important things either...ie. how we're feeling, why we feel that way, etc. I was upset a lot. It just wasn't easy, it was painstaking really. With Zach, I get upset over minor problems and we talk those out. Ladies, I hope you're as lucky as I am someday and know what I'm talking about. He's the guy every girl dreams about...ok..maybe not his looks, he's not tall, dark and handsome, but he is cute. He's the guy that holds you when you need it and just because, holds your hand in public, kisses you on the forehead, goes somewhere without you and gets you something, sends you pictures of "I (heart) U" in the sand at the beach when you couldn't go, doesn't look at other girls as being hot anymore (I know its hard to believe), lets you put your cold hands on him, gives you the last bite/sip, pays for everything, compliments you all the time, gives you his only jacket when you're freezing even if you already have one and he won't anymore, I could keep going....he's just amazing.

I'm in school...in case someone didn't know that...though I think everyone does. Its going pretty well, so far (only taking 1 test in each class) I have 3 A's and 1 B and my B is in cultural anthropology...the most boring class I take. I actually have an A in my 300 level course! That's a high-level course, a senior level course! I'm so psyched about that...I have a test in there monday...we'll see how that goes and then determine my grade.

Well...here you go, this should be entertaining....

The Facts:
Last night Michael and I were out at Vandergriff fairly late. We had a bottle of white sparkling grape juice and we were complaining about life, and pondering deep intellectual thoughts (yes, it is possible. When you put 2 brains together, sometimes, deep thoughts come out.) Approximately 1:20am a Hamilton County mounty pulls into the parking lot. He drives around our vehicles, spot lighting them, and then shines the light on us. After taking 5 years to get out of his patrol car and summons us over to him. He pulls out his flashlight to shine it at us, I suppose to make sure we're not concealing a semi-automatic machine gun.

Michael presents the bottle of grape juice as to show that we are not under-age drinking. The pig orders us to get out our licenses. I ask to walk over to my car and pull mine out of my wallet, ok. When i come back he is writing down Michael's information on his little all-info pad...asking height, weight, mother's maiden name and any STD's...(just kidding on those last two, I just thought it was funny). After that he did the same procedure with me except he asked who I lived with. And after inquiring about where we worked, the address and telephone number, he decided he couldn't get us on anything. (I forgot to say that a 2nd pig patrol car has pulled up, looked over our cars with the other pig, and is standing behind me) He then asked me where I got my beads that hang from my rear view mirror. I told him that a friend gave them to me (when i was a sophomore!) and he lectured us on how girls get those beads by flashing young men. After this, he let us go home. What a nice man.

My Opinion:
Ok, #1. What the hell? We were just chilling out. He told us that the park closes at sun down...apparently we both missed that memo! We've had other cops come along and not say word one to us. Why does he want my description? Why does he care who I live with? Oh yeah, I run a whore house over here (next to my drug dealer neighbors!). Maybe he thinks we were *gasp* fornicating or something sinful to that effect, right? I hate cops. They're all jerks, at least all of the ones I've ever met. Why was the 2nd cop standing behind me? Did he think I was giong to run? Hah...I'm too lazy for that. It was just so gay. Old-crotchety bastard. I don't believe there is a sign there posting their hours, I've looked for it before. Why did he call for back up??? Like what? Michael is going to attack him? This guy was old....No really? I didn't know that girls flash their boobs for beads! Really! Thats not how I got them (hey, everyone, go buy some at factory card outlet and maybe we can all be strippers together! If you have a lei hanging up, does that mean you're a prostitute? Maybe you get laid a lot?) Of all the times I've been pulled over, I've never had that comment...

Other Run-ins:
Well...I've been in 2 wrecks of my own. Got tickets for both of those, but they were dismissed. I've been pulled over like 4 times for having my tail lights out, got a citation for that (i had to go to court for that and the 2 tickets on my wrecks). I was pulled over for speeding, 41 in a 25...had to go to court for that ticket and take defensive driving school. And there was that time a couple of summers ago when my friends and I got tickets for vandalism but they were thrown out and all we had to do was go clean up after ourselves (that one is a long but very entertaining story, if you haven't heard it, its a must!) And all of this is just up here, that's not including anything that's happened in atlanta. I'm a trouble maker....heh. but gosh its fun!

Just to start it all off, I love my classes thus far. My anthropology class is the most boring class I have and its really not that bad. Philosophy is right up my alley and well sociology is kinda my concentration. In any case....

Like really know...I'm not talking about..."I like the colour blue, jeans are the best thing to wear, rap music sucks and so does country...."

I'm talking about your personality traits....

For instance. I am a "nice guy" ...girl...whatever. I hate saying no to people, it is very hard for me to say no to many things. If you run up to me after my classes and say "Hey you want to go to Coolige and hang out, throw a frisbee or something?" and I really don't want to, I probably will anyways. I don't like making people feel left out, alone or anything of the sort. I try to include everyone (probably because I've been excluded so many times). Sometimes I have to put my foot down and say no and that takes like all my strength. I will avoid someone if I know they're inviting me to something I don't want to go...I'd rather avoid than say no. As stupid as it sounds. If I know a girl on campus is going to ask me to come to their kegger and I don't really want to, I'll take a different route to avoid it. On the other hand though, I can handle confrontations. I've been told so many times what I'm doing wrong, how to fix it..."constructive criticism" whatever you call it. If you want to tell me how I'm a horrible human being, I can handle it. I have a hard time telling others things like that though. I don't want to hurt someone and therefore will avoid telling them I don't like them or that they're too dramatic...blah blah blah.

I think you get the idea of that one, I know some of you are like that as well.

I am not a routined person...but I am. I'm like OCD, but not. I don't have a set schedule, I don't wake up at the same time everyday, sometimes I eat breakfast, sometimes I don't, I don't always take a shower in the morning, I never brush my teeth at the same time and I never know what I'm doing for the week.
Now, on the other hand....I know my school schedule M-W-F, I always put my left leg in my pants first and my left arm in my shirt first, I always put my left shoe on first - and if I don't it feels really weird, I always hang my keys up beside my bed and put my purse on my bed post, on my days off I hang out with Zach except on thursdays when I go to drums....I eat with Michael from 10-11 on MWF, whenever I get into my bed - for a nap or sleeping or just watching a movie- I take my class ring off and put it on my night stand. I always wear my class right on my right hand with my grad. year facing me. I can only wear watches on my left hand. I always wear a belt. I always keep my cell phone in my right pocket and my money in my back right pocket (don't even try to pick-pocket it either, I will notice!)

Speaking of OCD...I have to arrange my books in my book back from largest to smallest (in height) and the largest is against my back. I clip my keys to my ring inside my back pack. I don't mind a mess in my room but there's a breaking point where I go nuts and clean EVERYTHING. When I shower, I do it the same way everytime...Shampoo- wash face - conditioner - wash body. when i dry off...i wrap my towel around me and squeeze all the water out of my hair. Then I dry my right arm, then my left, my chest and stomach, then my right leg and then my left. After all this I'll probably squeeze my hair out again and wrap a towel around my hair. ...the same way every time...

Some other things about me. I am cheap when it comes to myself and usually only get what I need. Right now, I need a new pair of tennis shoes, like something awful, but I keep saying "Oh, next pay check I'll get them..." Have i? nope. I could have last paycheck but I built Zach a model train...because I wanted to. I would rather spend my money on someone else than myself. I'm more inclined to give someone money than to buy a CD for myself. I only have 2 pairs of jeans that I wear...I don't need more than that. The only time I'll get another pair is when I wear holes in these or they're like 50% off and I have extra money. I've had these shoes for like 2½ years now...yeah I need some new shoes.

I'm also someone that doesn't accpet things well. I don't like accepting other people's money, except as a gift for like my birthday, christmas or like graduation. Unless you really get on my nerves or we've worked out an arrangement or something...i don't like taking people's money. I don't like people paying for my food, buying me things that I need (shoes, clothes)...I feel like I can do it on my own and I don't need "charity." I don't mean anything by it, I just need to feel self-sufficient. One of the ways I justify Zach paying for dinners or driving me around is that I do it in return. Sometimes I drive us and pay for dinner (depends on how much money I have).
In addition to money..I don't take compliments well. From parents, boyfriends, friends, teachers..it doesn't matter, I don't take them well. I'm not someone to say "Oh thanks....you look nice too" If you were to say, "Man Heather, you're really smart." I'd say something like, "nah, not really" Or when someone says, "you look good today"...I say "Not really..." ...The exception to this rule? When I'm dressed up (for church, prom...) and I know I look good.

I don't know if that helps you understand me any better...there's lots of things I could go on about, but I figured I'd span it out over a couple of journals instead of one really really really long one.

Its not really exploration, its more like pouring my feelings/thoughts out into a paper cup and watching it collapse into my hands.

I am a tomboy...whoa, big surprise there huh? But that means I act a lot like a boy...especially when it comes to sharing my feelings. Like I can say "Oh yeah, that made me sad" or "well, it kind of irritates me a little when you..." but I'm not talking about that.

I'm really competitive. You probably never would've guessed right? Hah. (sarcasm) I have to be the best and if not the best one of the best. I don't like settling for less than an A. I want to make the top grade in my class but if I just make an A that's cool too because I know I'm smarter than __% of my class. Wow that sounds so arrogant. People tell me I'm smart, I know it, my grades show it...so when people talk to me about how smart I am, I blow it off...humble myself because I know there are smarter people than me. I guess I'm alright as long as I know I'm beating somebody esle. I like feeling superior...not like because I'm white, or all powerful or anything like that...mainly in intellect.

Things that I'm not good in such as writing, english, putt putt and beating my dad in chess...I just back down. I know I'm not good...I accept that and therefore hate it. I hate english, I hate writing papers. I like playing my dad in chess because I know one day he'll be too senile to play and I'll finally win. Putt putt I can push to the side because everyone sucks at it. If I'm going to be bad at something, I want other people to be horrible with me. Misery loves company right?

I like being the star...in the lime light. Now I don't have to be center of attention all the time or anything like that. Like...I loved being drum major...everyone knew me, told me how great I was. I love it when teachers and parents praise me because I succeed...in many things. With that, I hate giving it up to people I love. ....that's not very clear...let me give an example.

I don't have a hard time giving it up when someone else in the band wins an award for being awesome. Or one of my friends does awesome in the talent show...when the focus is no where near me I guess is what I'm saying. That doesn't bother me. But say...if my brother was in the newspaper for protesting downtown for gay rights, I'd tell him i was proud he was doing something and then inside be thinking something like...I've never been in the newspaper...why is he better than me? How arrogant I am.

I don't know where I get it from, my parents have always been supportive of me and my brother fairly equally. So why am I not supportive to the people I love? Why do I feel like I'm in competition with everyone, especially people I love?

To help you all understand my story here the stuff (like this) is my thought process.

Take for instance Zach and theatre. He loves theatre...the little drama queen...probably more than he loves me. He's vice-prez or something high up like that...which means it will take up more of his time, more responsibility. (jealousy-he should want to spend time with me) Its cool...I know he loves it as much as I love band and that's fine (on the inside I'm jealous) In their new musical they're doing Grease...he doesn't know which part he's going to get but he hopes he won't have to kiss someone (he better not! I'll kill her!...what if he likes her better? what if she's a better kisser? what if they get close and he leaves me for her? he wouldn't like it if I kissed some other guy...even on the cheek I know he wouldn't like it...) and because of this...I'm resentful and kind of push him away...I feel bad because I know that I'm doing it. Well not necessarily at that moment but I realize it sooner or later. I know I should be proud of him and all that he does, every accomplishment. I am...deep inside I am but all this jealousy sprouts up and it just fucks me over really.

Anyways...I'm starting to hate myself. I know I can't be the only person like this, maybe I am. I don't know. Anyways. I'm going to stop here before I kill my spirit.

I'm sitting here at UTC and decided to check my email while making copies of my taxes for the finanacial aid people WHICH I've already done once but they suck really badly. That is an extremely long sentence too. So I'm getting ready to go argue with them about how I've already done this, I need my books and they need to shut it.

Yes my computer is still fried and it sucks. I'm sorry guys. But I doubt ya'll miss me being online that much anyways. Phil was about the only one talking to me. Ocassionally cat or someone.

In any case, the sooner I get this done the less painful it will be, right? Yeah that's it. Think optimistically.

I had to do a bloodwork lab this morning for my doctor to make sure I don't have diabetes? I don't know why I had to but I'm really glad I give blood fairly often because I'm starting to get used to it (but not really you know). It wasn't bad, the needle wasn't as big and they only took 2 vials instead of blood assurance's 4 vials and the pint of blood.

6 months came and went for Zach and me. Everything went well even though his plans didn't work out like he would have liked. And its okay...sometimes things don't work out like you plan, sometimes they're better. I know he tries and its the thought that counts. It will kind of have to work out one day, right? It sucks that he's back in school with his mother clamping down again in her last-ditch-effort to have control over him. Whether she realizes it or not, until he leaves home, she pretty much runs it all anyway. I hate high school and find myself wishing he was older, but alas, he's not. Its all good though.

I'm working on a project but I'm not going to talk about it much on here because well....I'm trying to make it a surprise (I doubt I will) and Zach reads this so....Yeah...most of the people on here work with me or talk to me fairly regularly...just ask if you want to know.

Any other exciting news? Well...I get to buy my books for school sometime this week, depending on when I can get ahold of the bursar's office. I guess that's exciting. I just want this school year (and every other really) to go by quickly. I want to get out and start my life doing....I don't know, something. My classes seem to be cool though and I'm half-excited about them. (I really am excited which just proves I'm the world's biggest dork.) The sooner this school year is done, the sooner Zach graduates and the easier things will get (hopefully).

My computer is still down and I'm still having to mooch off of my dad because he's a loser and ran over my Windows2000 Cd. Sometimes computers are so frustrating. I'm sorry you all can't see my website (but I really down anyone looks at it anyways...maybe for the pictures).

Well anyways...I guess that's long enough...I was really killing time before going to storage to get some needed things for my project. Anyways...I hope it turns out ok.

Hey guys! Sorry its been a while for a real update...

If anyone is wondering, and i'm sure you're not, the reason I haven't been online much is because my computer is F-ed up with like 50 viruses or something obscene. It really sucks and I have to use my dad's computer to check on my UTC stuff....

In anycase, I don't want anyone to think I'm ignoring them or anything...I just have to shut my computer down for a while. Also, on that note, if you try to acess my site, it won't work because my computer is my server and when its not on neither is the site. So it will be up and running as soon as my computer is. Luckily I saved all of my files. And the DCI pictures will be posted as well.

Other than that, everything is going pretty good. I got stung by a yellow jacket yesterday which kinda sucked but everything's okay and I'm not allergic. Eric, I know you didn't mean to, it's no big deal.

Also had a bladder infection but I'm sure no one wants to hear about that. I went to the doctor today for a check up...it was weird and I can still safely say I hate doctors.

Wednesday is 6 months for Zach and me. Yay! I haven't strangled him yet! and trust me, sometimes that's a miracle. (I'm just kidding, you're not that bad but sometimes....you know what I'm talking about) I hope to spend the next 6 months with him and the next after that...and so on and so forth.

My life really doesn't suck most of the time...I'm just a whiner.

Zach is going on vacation with his dear mother tomorrow erm, today at 5am. He's going to be gone until Wednesday, which sucks. It probably wouldn't matter so much because I'll probably work monday, tuesday and wednesday...plus I work 2-11 today, so my saturday is wasted anyways, but I can't even talk to him. Even if I can't see him I can still talk to him...but not while he's on vacation. I'm so pathetic. Its not like its going to kill me or anything. I should probably rejoice, but I'm just sad and pathetic and would rather whine. I don't like things goingly differently when I have a routine. I also don't like the fact that he's going to be at the beach with a bunch of girls in bikinis when I'm not there. Not that I don't trust him, there's just other things to look at besides the pretty water, if you know what I mean. And, don't tell me that when you're in a relationship you don't look, because everyone window shops.

I think I'm just jealous because I don't get to go on vacation. Let's face it, I lead a sad and lonely life. To take a vacation that means a couple of things. One, you have money you can afford to spend or rather, not make. Two, it implies you have somewhere to go and usually someone to go there with, neither of which I have. My family has never taken a summer vacation. We've gone places, but that was when i was like 6...Matt, Teeny, Vickie, Taylor, Jordan, Jill (its a vacation), Zach, and even Michael are all taking vacations....am I? Nope. I get to stay in boring Chattanooga while everyone else goes out and has fun. At least last summer I was out rolling houses and almost getting arrested, this summer, I'm just reserved.

It makes me jealous to know that other people have that kind of money to just not work for a week and go somewhere. Even if I had money...I don't have anywhere to go, or a way to get there. I really want to visit my friend Phil down in Mobile, but I don't think his girlfriend would much like that and Zach probably wouldn't either.

Then public schools start back in a couple of weeks..that really sucks. There goes any time I could spend with Zach. Relationships are so much effort. Making time for each other, making time for other people...making time for family...going to work, going to school..and somewhere sleeping and eating in between. I'm a pathetic loser.

At least I get to go to DCI. I'm looking forward to that. I wish I had a car that could seat 4 people so that Michael wouldn't have to drive. Let's face it, we'll be out late and 10:1, Sue will bring Michael in at 5:30 and I'm sure I'll work at 6 or 7...she has a knack for that. Even so, I don't care. I would rather work morning anyways. Then i can go to that movie in the park at coolige or actually go on a date. Who knows what crazy and interesting things I could do on a Saturday night. I really feel sorry for those who always close saturday nights...I whine and complain but at least I get them every now and then. Of course, you all make more money than I do...even trade I suppose.

I finished Harry Potter and I wish it came out tonight instead of last week so that I could let it consume my time this week when I'm going to be bored anyways. But nevertheless, it came out last week. Yeah, I read it in like 5 days. Because, yet again, I'm a loser. It was good but disappointing. I cried, because I'm a sap. *If you don't want to read my speculations about what's going to happen...then skip this* I don't think she's going to keep him alive in the 7th book. I think he's becoming too big and I think that, if she hadn't promised 7 books, she probably would've killed him off in this one. I think Ron and Hermonie will live and probably get married. I also think that if she kept Harry alive that people would want her to write on for more books...and talk about what he does after killing Voldemort. If she does keep in alive...he'll go back to Ginny and probably teach at hogwarts...become and auror maybe, but I honestly think he'd rather teach. Plus Voldemort wanted to teach after he graduated, but he was too young. It would kind of be unique and cool though if Harry went on to teach. They're just thoughts...I also think Draco is going to die, Thank God. But I'll get on muggle.net and see what's up and what they speculate.

I guess nothing interesting happens in the summer...actually its because I see and talk to everyone pretty regularly.

I've got a sore throat and that really sucks.

Zach and I have been together for 5, almost 6 months now. Wow...that's really all I've got to say too.

I bought the new Harry Potter tonight at wal-mart for cheaper than I would've gotten at waldenbooks...so screw them, I'm not waitin in line forever when I can go get it cheaper somewhere else. I haven't started reading it yet...I'll wait until I wake up to do that. If I start reading now, I'll be up all night long. Trust me, I know myself too well.

I watched In Good Company, it was bad.

I got a new Verizon phone since I last posted. If you want the new number, ask me or ask someone I know, I'm not posting it here for all the world to see. That's just weird.

Michael, Tristan, Zach and me are going to DCI on July 29...that will be exciting. I've already got my ticket, it came in the mail today.

I really can't believe I'm going to be a sophomore in college....its kinda wierd. I never thought I would see 20 either and its just around the corner. Life is whizzing by pretty quickly, and I hardly have time to stop and enjoy the flowers. But I'm not nearly as stressed as other people are. One girl at work has 3 jobs and is only 17. She's saving for a trip....but still. I can't work 3 jobs...too much to keep up with. Really, if I was getting paid $7 an hour, working tues, thurs, and sat mornings...I would have no problem with the chicken. I would work monday, tuesday, thursday and saturday for an ideal schedule....or take monday and friday off...that'd be nice lol. its not as bad as I make it out i guess...i don't mind it, I just know I could get paid more elsewhere. I don't know what I want.


Its almost 3am...geez. Anyway, I'll update again pretty soon. Most of you probably know what's going on anyways.
